About the Attraction
Cubbon Park, officially Sri Chamarajendra Park, is one of Bangalores's most famous landmarks and a favorite destination for both locals and foreigners. With green areas covering approximately 300 acres, the park offers a peaceful escape from the city's busy streets with beautiful gardens, bamboo groves, flowering plants and more than 6,000 trees representing hundreds of species. Due to its central location, the park is easily accessible from business district offices and UB City shopping mall.
In Cubbon Park, every day thousands of visitors enjoy jogging, cycling, photography, and birdwatching. It is a good spot to simply take a relaxing walk or an evening break after work. During weekends and public holidays, parts of the park are closed to vehicle traffic, thus creating even safer and quieter environment.
