About the Restaurant
The Lanterna Tavern, or Konoba Lanterna, close to the Hilton Hotel, is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Podgorica’s old town. Nestled within the walls of a building dating back to the 1630s, the tavern was historically part of a family's home used to store provisions and for socializing. The Lanterna's decor reflects this history with rustic stone walls and wooden beams. You can also dine outdoors in a serene, tree-shaded courtyard centered around an olive tree. The Taverna offers a wide range of traditional Montenegrin and international dishes, paired with local wines and beers, providing an authentic and welcoming Montenegrin dining experience.
